Cygnus 38ft Trawler Yacht
- Strobarli
DESCRIPTION:
STROBARLI has a fully
documented history. Her
first owner conceived her as
a “purpose-built passage
making mini- ship”,
combining comfort and
quality with strength. To
this end, he sought the
advice and opinions of
professional fishermen and
seamen before selecting the
hull and machinery. He then
commissioned a commercial
builder to fit her out as a
luxurious live aboard yacht.
In the event, she has been
very under used during the
last 20 years.
The present owner has spent
£25,000 upgrading her to
meet the standards expected
by today's live-aboard
cruisers.

OWNER’S COMMENTS:
This is a unique opportunity
to purchase, at an
affordable price, a
motorboat which will cruise
economically in blue water,
transit inland waterways and
lie in remote anchorages.
Due to the volume of the
hull, the usable space is
comparable to a vessel in
the 45ft – 50ft range. Se
carries all of a couple's
worldly goods plus the
proliferation of stores,
spares, tools, charts and
pilot books demanded by the
lifestyle, and can still
accommodate two guests for
realistic periods of time.
At the same time, her length
at 38ft means she is very
economical to moor and
maintain.
She fits the general
parameters for a
passage-maker as set out in
the bible of ocean cruising
motorboats "Voyaging under
Power" by Captain Robert
Beebe.
